Altered wooden star

Tym razem dla Decoratorium przygotowałam zalterowana drewnianą gwiazdę, 

którą użyłam jako ramkę do zdjęcia.

Gwiazdę pomalowałam białą farbą kredową Americana Decor, 

a następnie zabarwiłam niebieskimi odcieniami fluidów.

Fluidy rozcieńczałam z wodą, chlapałam, mieszałam barwy.

Ostemplowaną i zabarwioną gwiazdę zabezpieczyłam matowym werniksem, 

aby całość nie rozmoczyły kolejne media.

Na tak przygotowane tło nałożyłam Cracle Glaze, 

a gdy wyschło w spękania wpuściłam nieco Antiquing Cream.

Kolejne elementy, czyli metalowe tryby i tekturki alterowałam za pomocą 

gessa, mgiełki i Metallic Lustre.

Pozostało tylko przyklejenie gotowych elementów w kompozycję i gotowe.

Stars and planets

Kształt drewnianej gwiazdy od razu podyktował mi tematykę mojej pracy.

Wszystko szybko stało się dla mnie jasne: gwiazdy i planety, 

a paleta kolorystyczna zaczerpnięta ze zdjęcia.

Okrągłe tekturki to orbity, a kryształki to gwiazdy i planety.

Przesłanie: 

"Jesteś dla mnie całym wszechświatem".

The shape of the wooden star immediately dictated to me the subject of my work.

Everything quickly became clear to me: stars and planets, 

and a color palette adopted from the photo.

The round chiboards are the orbits, and the crystals are the stars and planets.

The message:
"You are the whole universe to me".
